Ten persons died in Indiana traffic accidents over the weekend, five of them in head-on-collisions. Arthur Gott, 77, Crawfordsville, died today of injuries suffered when he was hit by a car while running across a Crawfordsville street Sunday night. The driver, 56-year-old Louis Hershberger of Crawfordsville was not held.

Autos crashing into other autos accounted for seven of Indianapolis 10 weekend fatalities. The other victims were a motorcyclist, a pedestrian and a woman involved in a one-car accident. The tenth name added to the list was Arthur Gott, 77 of Crawfordsville who died Monday of injuries suffered when he was struck by an auto Sunday night. The driver, Louis Hershberger, 56 of Crawfordsville said Gott ran into the street. - kbz
